Free Lecture on How to Declare Bankruptcy

Bankruptcy is a means for a debtor to obtain financial relief through liquidation or reorganization of his/her debts. Attorney Matthew Grech will discuss the basics of how to declare bankruptcy, in particular the differences between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, the qualification requirements for each, the duties and obligations of a debtor, and (very importantly) what not to do prior to filing a bankruptcy petition.

This lecture is free and open to the public. The lecture will be held in the San Mateo County Law Library located at 710 Hamilton Street, Redwood City.
